How to Full Blitz in the Nickel Defense

"Hi, I'm Billy Kidd, here at Expert Village and we're going to talk about the nickel defense. The last thing that you might want to do with this is you might want to drop this safety down even closer to the line of scrimmage and lock him up on this running back. One, two, three, four, five guys you know you can have eleven on the field, so that allows you to use a defensive front and two line backers to where now you're going to put a full blitz on this one quarter back to get presser on him. You've manned up with all of the eligible receivers and now you're just covering with a full blitz out of this nickel defense to get pressure on your quarter back and at the same time have five defensive backs in the game to cover five potential offensive receivers. So you should have you're best cover guys on their best receivers to give you the optimal chance to defend against the pass."
