"Hi. My name is Kenyatta Gilliam and welcome to Expert Village. Today I'm going to be showing you how to make chicken and rice or how they say it in Spanish, arroz con pollo. So the first step, the ingredients that you need for your chicken and rice dish is first your nice, supple, get a whole chicken that you can get at your local grocery store. You always can get your butcher to chop up your fresh whole chicken for you. And then next you're going to need some celery. Nicely thin chopped celery. And also you're going to need some onions as well. Preferably white or depending on what onion that you like. Or you can get scallions or anything of that nature that you really do like. Then next you're going to need any kind of yellow rice which is really good. There's different variations of rice that you could actually purchase but I prefer Goya. That's what I prefer as far as rice wise. And then also salt to season as well. So, those are the first ingredients that you do need and next I'm going to show you the tools that you do need for your chicken and rice or arroz con pollo."
