"Hi, I'm Billy Kidd, I'm here on Expert Village, and we are going to talk about the four-four defense. Now the running game, this offense can do all kinds of plays. They can try to overload you with numbers, move the ball to the right with the tight end which is the strong side of play, they can try to overload you with numbers and pull the guard, move the backs to the weak side of the play where there is not a tight and to try and get numbers on people. But with this defense right here you have your four up front guys controlling the line of scrimmage, you have your four linebackers here to react to the motion and the movement, and fill gaps and fill holes in this front, so that they can penetrate or stop everything at the line of scrimmage and nothing gets by them and creates big runs."
