"On behalf of Expert Village, I'm Laura Banford. I'm going to show you how to make some delicious Island chicken. In this clip, I'm going to show you some of the simple equipment that you are going to need to make Island chicken. They are very basic items and you probably already have most of them. Here they are. You want to use a grill pan cause we are going to grill the chicken indoors, a skillet to cook the bacon, I use a separate plastic cutting board for chicken. This is a meat pounder that I'm going to use to pound our chicken thighs, you pound them out they cook more evenly on the grill, tongs of course, spatula for scooping our sauce, trustee paring knife, whisk, chef's knife and this is a bona fide pineapple knife from the Dull plantation in Hawaii. It's useful for cutting grapefruit and other things too but you can see that it's angled that is so that it can go right around the pineapple, the body of the pineapple to cut off the skin without cutting to much flesh. In our next clip, we are going to make the chicken marinate the chicken has get in the marinate right away so it soaks up all the ingredients that are in that marinate and they will sit in there for a little while. So we want to get started on that and that will be in the next clip."
