There are almost as many ways to prepare chicken as there are chickens in the world. From chicken Parmsan to this recipe for an island chicken platter with fruits and vegetables, chicken is one of the most popular meats in the world.

In this free video series, our expert Laura Banford will show you how to make an island chicken platter. She will show you how to select the ingredients, make a marinade for the chicken, and teach you all about the equipment you'll need to make the plater. Laura will teach you how to clean and slice the chicken, marinate the peppers and onions, grill the chicken and vegetables, and make a dressing for the platter. She will even show yo how to cook the bacon and build the platter from the ground up iwth greens, bacon, peppers and onions, scallions, fruits and nuts. Finally Laura will show you how to finish the platter, garnish, and serve it!

"On behalf of Expert Village, I'm Laura Banford and I'm going to show you how to make some delicious Island Chicken. Hello today we are going to make a really fun fantastic Islandy dish called Island Chicken. It involves quite a few ingredients but they are fun ingredients, they're tasty, they're nutritious. There's chicken obviously that's marinated in a delicious yogurt marinade. There's lots of vegetables and fruit including a fresh pineapple and then there's delicious toppings on top of that including macadamia nuts, dates, sesame seeds, there are other kinds of ,there's a really nice dressing involved and you put it in a big platter and it is family style, its party friendly and you're going to love it. So come with me while we produce Island Chicken."
