"On behalf of Expert Village, I'm Laura Banford and I'm going to show you how to make Hawaiian Pork with Braised Cabbage and Pineapple-Tomato Skewers. Well, we've prepared our Pineapple-Tomato Skewers. Isn't that cute? I think these are great and colorful, and they're marinaded in a combination of Canola oil, sweet mirin, and lime juice. Sweet and sour, little acid, little sweetness. And now we're going to grill them on our grill pan. Obviously these don't need to cook, we just want to give them a little char. They just look really pretty, and colorful, and islandy, you know what I mean? And it's a nice idea, you know, to make a dish that has some color and some pop and some, you know different shapes, and this accomplishes all of that. So we're just going to grill them, get a little char on each side, and when we come back we're going to finish our Hawaiian Pork. See you then."
