"On behalf of Expert Village, I'm Laura Banford and I'm going to show you how to make Hawaiian Pork with Braised Cabbage and Pineapple-Tomato Skewers. Now we're going to cut our pineapple. As I mentioned earlier, I have a pineapple knife, which is a serrated knife with a slight bend to it that I got at the Dole plantation in Hawaii, on Oahu when I was there several years ago. And I use it for all different things and it's very useful for a pineapple. But first, before you use that knife, you have to take the top and bottom off, and then that way this has a nice, flat base. And take the curved edge of the knife and just slice it down. See how well that works? Just because of the angle and the serrated blade it's just perfect to trim the, the tough skin and tough inedible skin of the pineapple. We're just going to go all the way around. It works perfectly. There we go. And then you can clean it up a little bit, just like that. And when we come back we're going to marinade our pineapple and tomato and make our skewers."
