"On behalf of Expert Village I'm Laura Banford. I'm going to show you how to make Hawaiian pork with braised cabbage and pineapple tomato skewers. Now I'm going to show you the ingredients you need to make the Hawaiian pork. It looks like a lot of ingredients but you probably have most of them in your pantry. Then there is those great colorful vegetables that we're going to add to, this is some vegetable stock, canola oil, garlic, ginger, lime for lime juice, a couple stocks of lemon grass, a couple of colorful peppers, onion. This is not any onion, this is a Hawaii onion Hawaiian onions are known for there sweetness so I made sure I got one of those, scallions and other things that are going to flavor the dish, Chinese five star powder, crack red pepper, some water chest nuts we're going to finish the dish with those at the end, coconut milk and low sodium soy sauce, a little bit of brown sugar then we have the pork ribs. These are the meatiest of all the ribs. In other words you have baby back ribs and other slab ribs. These country style ribs is what they're called are found forward in the baby back ribs closer to the shoulder and as I said they are the meatiest of all the ribs. They take a little time in cooking as to Joel ribs but they are sure worth it at the end because they have so much meat. When we come back, we're going to prep our garlic and our onions, see you then."
