"On behalf of Expert Village I'm Laura Bandford. I'm going to show you how to make a delicious Asian vegetarian entree. Hi, in this segment I'm going to talk about the equipment that you are going to need to make your delicious Asian vegetarian entree. Here are the things you'll need; your trustee chef's knife, I use this every single day, a good paring knife, tongs both to transfer the vegetables to and from the pan and also to get the steaming basket out of the pan so you don't burn yourself. You need a butter knife to cut up your tofu, spoon, a whisk, this is going to whisk our sauce together. The sauce has peanut butter in it which is really thick so you definitely need a whisk not a spoon to distribute the peanut butter and the miso throughout the sauce. This is the sauce pan to make the sauce a nice heavy sturdy sauce pan, this is what I'm going to use for as a steamer. There is a lot of different ways to steam but you always need a base or a pot with a lid, very important. Then the steaming basket this is what I'm using, this is really simple you can use a bamboo basket that would be a bamboo steamer, that would be more authentic for an Asian dish. But this can work fine and I can grab it with my tongs and pull it right out even when it's full of vegetables. Those are the simple pieces of equipment that you'll need to make your delicious entree. In the next clip we are going to prepare the onions, carrots and I'll see you then."
