"The next thing I want to talk about is to have some punch counters they're very small but very valuable, readily used in the gym. What we do is I try to convince the boxer that in 120 seconds, a two minute round, that I'd like to get them to throw at least 120 punches, and they say, well, gee, we can't throw 1 punch per second, but when you start throwing combinations and you start thinking about it, it's relatively easy to throw 120 punches in a round, especially if you have some punch counters on and each time you're trying to beat your best. Also, what I'd like to say is, if you're a right handed boxer, and leading with your left hand, you have approximately twice as many left jabs as you do right hands, mostly because everything you throw is going to be lead with the left jab. So I like to tell my boxers, I like to see approximately seventy five left hands and about, maybe 35 right hands, so it's almost a two to one. Shane is going to give us a demonstration here, Shane. We'll put these on and then we'll face them the correct way here. Go ahead and test that Shane, just throw a punch or two so I can make sure and just check here and yep, we've got two punches on here now. You should always check them, I had one guy working two minutes one time and we had them backwards and he was upset he had to do it all over again. Ok, so Shane has those on there now, so I'm going to time him for about a minute we'll see how many punches he can throw. Ok, that's good there, let's see what we've got. Ok, let's see what we've got here, that was thirty seconds, so we got 51 on the left and approximately 18 on the right, so if you multiply that by four, that was a good round for Shane. Ok. "
