"The next subject we're going to cover, is the sparing gloves. And, unlike the bag gloves the sparing gloves a good pair of sparing gloves is going to be quite a bit thicker than your average bag gloves. These here, are about three and a half inches thick. They're pretty much called like a safety glove. And, is a lot more protection for sparing. Yet, they're still compact and you're able to still do a good sparing match with them. And, with these like I did with the heavy bag gloves I've got them marked for sparing only. Because, the way these are constructed and the softer quality and the less denseness inside. If they're used on the heavy bag at least more than once repeatedly on the heavy bag, they're going to end up ripping. They're not made for the heavy bag. They're made for sparing. So, I try to convince the boxers not to be hitting the heavy bag with the sparing gloves and not to be hitting each other with the heavy bag gloves. And, again these are fourteen ounce. Which is a good all around sparing glove. But, if I'm going to have two of the heavier type boxers sparing what we're going to do is switch to the sixteen ounce gloves. Which still gives a lot of protection. But, it also adds a little bit more weight to the hands so you can get a better workout. And worst comes to worst, if we have some people that just don't want to get hurt. We've got some twenty-eight ounce sparing gloves. And, these will make sure you don't get hurt at all. It's like a good blue collar type sparing glove. You'll want to get your boss here in the ring."
