"In this clip, I'm going to be getting into more detail on the actual heavy bag gloves themselves. One thing that I like to do here, is most of the boxers don't buy their own heavy bag gloves. So, what we do is I have quite an assortment that they can use. But, what I try to do is clearly mark them as heavy bag and then the size medium. There's nothing worse than a boxer coming and trying to find the size. Ok, well that's a large. Ok, that's a little bit loose. That's a small. So, if I've got them clearly marked with the sizes they're able to grab the right one. And, then know next time to go back to that one without looking and trying to find the little tag inside. Also, by marking them heavy bag we try to entail that the boxer doesn't use these in the sparing match in the ring. The heavy bag gloves are a little bit more denser and a little bit thinner and used on the heavy bag. If they're used during sparing, there could be come injuries. So, we don't want to use them in the sparing match. So, we always have an assortment of mediums. The larges ones, of course a little bit larger. You should try to encourage your boxer to use the smallest glove that he can and still get a good tight fit. But, you don't want the larger boxer squeezing their hand into the medium gloves. What that's going to do, is eventually stretch out the gloves. And, then as the medium boxer's use them they're going to be a little bit loose. And, as always make sure you have even the equipment for the youth boxers. So, even go with something even a little bit smaller than the mediums and the large. And, again make sure they're clearly marked and that we don't use the heavy bag gloves during a sparing match."
