"Hi! I'm Jennifer Cail and on behalf of Expert Village, I'm going to show you how to make a green bean casserole as part of your delicious Thanksgiving day dinner. Now that our casserole has been fully cooked through and we've made sure that the entire top is covered with the fried onions, it's time to serve. Unlike many things coming out of the oven, you can put the French fried onion green bean casserole directly from the onion to the table. This is one reason to make sure you have a nice casserole dish, something which is going to look pretty on your Thanksgiving day table. Because you want to serve this warm, you want to make sure that it's done as close to the serving time as possible. In fact, if you're making a turkey, you can probably even put the casserole in after the turkey is done. Between letting the turkey rest and carving the turkey, it'll have more than enough time to cook your casserole. How do you go about serving it? Well, because you do have some soup in there, even though a lot of it has gotten a lot firmer and you have the green beans, it's going to be best served by a solid serving spoon. You just want to make sure that when you scoop everything up, you get a little bit of everything in your green bean casserole while serving it to your guests."
