"Hi! I'm Jennifer Cail and on behalf of Expert Village, I'm going to show you how to make a green bean casserole as part of your delicious Thanksgiving day dinner. Let's see if our casserole is finally done. You want to take it out of the oven. Of course, being careful to use potholders. That looks fantastic. See how nice and brown the topping is. You want to come over here and put it on the countertop. If while cooking, some of the onions have been absorbed into the casserole, then you don't have to worry about it. You can always add more. If you need to, just sprinkle a couple more fried onions on top covering up any spots which have been reabsorbed into the casserole, perhaps along the edges. They won't have the nice brown coloring that the other onions do, but they're still going to be nice and crisp. The most important thing is to make sure that for every serving that you have, that there are onions on top. We've covered up pretty much all of it. There's a couple of spots right there. You just want to make sure the entire thing is covered with onions and that nothing has been reabsorbed that hasn't been recovered so there aren't any bald spots on top."
