"Hi! I'm Jennifer Cail and on behalf of Expert Village, I'm going to show you how to make a green bean casserole as part of your delicious Thanksgiving day dinner. Now that we have our green beans in our casserole dish, it's time to add the cream of mushroom soup. If you've made your own, then you want to would have done it before hand. You want to make sure that it's cooled down. If it's not cool it might end up cooking the green beans before we put it in the oven, which could end up with an over cooked casserole. Of course, if it's coming from a can, it hasn't been cooked yet. We're just going to gently pour this in trying to minimize splashing as much as possible. Make sure you use a spatula to get all of the cream of soup out of the measuring cup. Now, we're going to take our wooden spoon and we're going to very gently mix up the green beans and the soup. You want it to be uniformly mixed so that you don't have a layer of soup or layers of green beans without any soup. This is why it's so important to put the green beans in first. If you put the green beans after the cream of soup, then it's going to hard to get the green beans all the way down to the bottom and to make sure it's evenly mixed. "
