"Now that we talked about the mixer a little bit it's time to talk about the main components that come with it. The first and most important part of the mixer is of course the bowl. Depending on your mixer you might be able to use different bowls in it but I usually recommend using the bowl that came with the mixer. Particularly for this brand of mixer you need to have a bowl which snaps into place which you're not going to get to with any other. It's also nice cause this bowl has a handle making it easier to both move and to lift up if you need to pour. Besides the bowl you also have a variety of beaters and whips. You have your wire whisk which is used for incorporating air into your batters or if you're going to make whip cream or whip up some egg whites for meringue, this is very important and of course you should recognize it for a whisk that you might have that you can use with your hands alone. This is going to be much more powerful and get the job done much faster. Next you have your flat beater this is very handy for it's pretty much all your purpose mixing attachment. This is good for cake batter, cookie doughs anything which doesn't need to be whipped up but it's not so stiff that if can't be easily poured. So this is going to be use for a lot of different things. Then the third attachment that you have for mixing your ingredients is your dough hook this is fantastic if you make bread a lot you can use the dough hook to both mix your bread and to knead it, eliminating that step. Last but not least you have your pouring shield this is useful for some instances and certainly it has the pour spout for putting things into your mixer but we'll get into this a little bit later on going over pieces individually."
