"Hi, this is Josiah Owen and today we are going to talk about making pot roast. Now that we have all of our vegetables prepared we are going to go ahead and put them in the crock pot while we cut the meat. So I said that we had a special purpose for these I'm going to lay the potatoes in the bottom. This is going to make our bed, this is going to make our bed. At this point we are going to go ahead and season so we are going to pour some pepper just to cover those up. I'm a big fan of pepper. You can use as however much you want to but I love my pepper. Take some kosher salt and sprinkle on top of there. At this point we are going to take half of the vegetables the onions and the carrots. Kind of save the other potatoes and drop these in. We are going to save some of the vegetables to put on top. Put the onions in there and at this point we are going to season again. We are going to season a different layer of vegetables. We are going to put this on medium and wait until we come back for the roast."
