"Hi! I'm Karen for Expert Village. Okay, let's cut out our peacock. I like to start with the head section. Just put your knife straight in. With a short sawing motion, follow your lines straight in and out. You don't want to put that knife in sideways. Straight in and out and sawing. You can remove your knife at any point. It's a little easier to do curves in this way. That's how you take your knife out. Pull out any fruit that comes loose and continue following your pattern. I like to cut out small sections and just pull them out as you go. Don't worry if you don't follow your lines exactly. They're just a guide. Since we've used a water soluble marker...it's getting all over my hands...we should be able to wipe off any extra markings that are left. 1,2, 3. Continue around in a nice short sawing motion. Here's our head section, our neck. Be very careful as you're doing the neck not to damage that because that's the most delicate part. It's the thinnest part of our peacock. You may have to cut in between sections to be able to remove them. You just want to be careful that you don't hurt your peacocks neck as you're removing the excess. Just cut across the top and kind of wiggle it to pull it out. That one came right out. Next, we're going to remove as much of the inside flesh as possible."
