"Hi! I'm Karen for Expert Village. I finish cutting and cleaning our melons. Now I'm going to show you how to set it up in a beautiful display. It's nice to have a pedestal like this. This pedestal will take a variety of different plates. I'm going to use a small plate for our taller swan and a large plate for our longer swan. If you don't have a pedestal and you want to get the same lift, you can use a glass. A nice sturdy wide glass and that will lift up your swan. Even an overturned bowl. It won't get it up as high, but you can still get that little bit of lift that you need to get a variety and level. We're going to use the pedestal and a plate. The first thing I'd like to do is to line our plates or our pedestal and our plate with some beautiful greens. That'll give it a nice lush look. You completely cover the plate with the greens. This Romaine lettuce. You can use any greens that look nice. Then we'll put our swans right in the bed of green like this. Notice that I cut the necks in opposite directions. That gives it a nice look. Now, you can fill the swans. Swans are beautiful filled with strawberries and blueberries and raspberries if they're in season. Right now, for me they're not in season, so I'm going to fill them with a variety of seasonal fruit. First, I'm going to take the melon that we cut up and just fill in the bottom. I'm putting the square cut up melons in the bottom, and then I'll put the round on top. You can mix that with some grapes. You can see if you had strawberries, it would add a nice extra color to it. You can put more of the melon balls in there. We'll put grapes up in here. If they slide around, fall out that's fine. Just tuck them in and fill it up as nicely as you can."
