"Hi, my name is Karl James owner of Creolesoul Catering located in Round Rock, TX and I'm Taylor Glover and on behalf of Expert Village we are here to show you a chicken and sausage jambalaya. Now it's time for us to premix our seasonings. I like to mix these ahead of time so we don't have to worry about it, so we're going to add a little black pepper, kosher salt, garlic powder, creole seasoning mix (in any grocery store) ole bay and we're going to add our dry thyme leafs to this. Now this is the seasoning that we are going to use throughout the recipe we're going to use it to season our chicken and also use it to season our shrimp for an overall seasoning for our total jambalaya. So we're going to have that mixed up and mix it with a fork, get it all mixed together nice and tasty even all around. It looks good and like I said I sometimes taste to make sure that the mix is perfect and it is, so let's move on."
