Creole cuisine is a style of cooking originating in Louisiana that combines French, Spanish, French Caribbean, African and American style cooking. Similar to the other Louisiana classic style, Cajun food, Creole cuisine is both rich and spicy. However, creole cooking focuses much more on natural ingredients and doesn't rely as heavily on the Acadiana influence of Cajun but rather sticks closer to classical European style dishes. An important element to Cajun food is its combination of sweet and spicy flavors. So when you combine the sweet and spicy goodness of Cajun sauces and add them to the rich heartiness of chicken wings, the outcome is a Cajun dish meant for the gods.

"Hi my name is Karl James owner of Creole soul catering and on behalf of Expert Village I'm here to show you a creole barbecue chicken wing recipe. Okay a creole barbecue chicken wings this is something that is good but especially with football season coming up add some Hors d'oeuvre, some finger foods, something to sit around. We are going to do a creole style barbecue chicken wing which we are going to do these in the oven. We are going to precook our chicken wings, season them, flour them, brown them in a deep fryer and then we are going to mix them in a barbecue sauce and we are going to use our holly trinity we are not going to sweat that or anything we are going to use it raw. We are going to use the bell pepper, the onion, the celery add that to our sauce, as well as some garlic and we are going once the chicken wings are brown we are going to mix that around in the sauce, put it on a baking pan and then stick in the oven so those flavors could grip to the chicken wings. Anyway that is where we are going with this let's get started."
