"Hi! My name is Jenny Villagomez and on behalf of Expert Village, I'll be showing you how to make chiles rellenos. What are chiles rellenos? Never had chiles rellenos before? Chiles rellones is a Mexican dish made from chili peppers, usually poblano or Anaheim, and in this case, Anaheim, that are roasted, peeled, cleaned, stuffed, dipped in batter, and fried. The name of the dish literally means stuffed chiles in spanish. The preferred stuffing varies from region to region and families sometimes put their own twist on the classic Mexican recipe. The sauce that chiles are served with also varies in style. I'll be showing you my special recipe. If you're interested in trying this ethnic dish and your tongue can take a little heat, chiles rellenos are sure to hit the spot."
