Video Transcript

"Hi! My name is J and I'm talking to you guys today on behalf of expertvillage.com, and today we're going to be making a red enchilada sauce. First of all, for the sauce we're going to use tomato sauce. I have the kind of sauce that has no salt added. You're going to need 2 cans. We're going to need tomato paste for a thickener, a little olive oil. For seasoning, you're going to need a little fresh ground black pepper, some salt. You're going to need a little chili powder, which is going to give it that real authentic enchilada salt. Ground cumin; some people call it comino. Paprika is another ingredient in the sauce, and of course, we're going to use onion and garlic. These are fresh onion and fresh garlic. That is it for the enchilada sauce ingredients. If you'd like to substitute any one of these for your brand or organic type of brand you can do that. This is just the real simple way to make a red enchilada sauce."
