"On behalf of Expert Village, this is Ian McSwain with Passion Foods in Miami, Florida and today we're showing you a quick and easy Mexican recipe. Today I'm going to be making guacamole. I'm using a metal bowl but what I found to be, I guess, more traditional and I've seen it in Mexico, I've seen it here, I just don't have it with me today is a mortar and pestle and they usually make it out of lava rock and to grind the avocado and they grind all the ingredients together. So, if you don't have one and you'd like to get one you can go to a specialty market, they'll have them, I think you can pick them up for about $20 and they clean easily and you can not only do guacamole but any type of little sauces or pastes or anything like that. I find that in the lava rock mortar and pestle the food doesn't react at all and has a purer taste to it."
