"This is David for expertvillage.com. We are deep frying a turkey today. We’ve come to the part where we make a marinade for the injection. We will be willing to check the entire bird with marinade which will make it very tasty. First of all what you will do is you can buy any type of Italian Dressing off the shelf. You will want to strain that so that it will be go into the injector easily otherwise it will clog it up and you won’t get good results. So once you’ve done that, we have some spices that we mix together. You can do anything that is your favorite but I use Cayenne or Oregano, Basil, salt, black pepper and some Thyme. Just go ahead and process all this in. You can use Tabasco as well. Put that into your mixture, as much as you like. I like mine spicy so I added a little bit more. Then what you will want to do is whisk this together. The reason I am using a tall cup like this will make it easier to put the injector in and to get ready for the bird. It mixes very well and then you can put it to the side and then we will be ready to inject the bird. "
