"Hi, I'm Rachel for Expert Village. For this recipe we use the powder sugar on top again as we did again. I'm going to use the shifter again. It just makes everything prettier when you have powder sugar on top. Although it has jelly inside it does not matter or the one that we have filled with the caramel inside just gives it a nice look when you sprinkle it with powder sugar. Of course, we would not put it in the glaze because the glaze has decoration already but the ones that don't gives it a nice look. If you put too much, you can always shake it a little bit. It gives it a nice tasty look. It is better to place the powder sugar on top of the donuts not too long before serving them because the donuts are oily and the powder sugar would tend to combine with the oil and get sticky. It is not as pretty and it does not have this pretty look if it stays for so long on top of the donut. "
