"Hi I'm Rachel for Expert Village. Now I'm going to show you how to shape the bagels. Actually there is 2 ways to shape the bagels this dough is going to be enough for 6-8 between 6-8 bagels. First of all I'm going to cut it and make balls out of it. It should be about the same size because different sizes take different time to bake and to boil so they should be about the same size. The first way to make a bagel is just to make a snake kind of and then take the snake and pinch the 2 sides together. A second way to make a bagel is to put your to make a ball to put your thumb through and then you just basically opening it like that. Whatever is more comfortable for you doesn't matter it is the same way of making a bagel. Now that they are rolled we are going to put them inside the boiling water, as I mention before we are not going to rise again they have are ready to be boiled."
