"Hi! This Josiah Owen with Expert Village and today we'll be talking about recipes for those who are on a diabetic diet. Now we're going to talk about melting our margarine for our cheesy herb bread. We're going to need about 1/3 cup, so we're going to need about 1, 2, 3, about 4 1/2 tablespoons. Put the other part to the side. Peel this off. Now that our margarine is melted, we're going to go ahead and add a 1/4 cup of our diced onions. We're just going to toss this in there. Stir that around. Let that sauté. Stir it around and make sure the pieces don't stick. Let that cook for about 30-40 more seconds. Now that our onions have cooked for about a minute, we're going to go ahead and add our garlic to this. We add 2 cloves. We're just going to put that in there and mix that around. We don't want this cooked too long. We don't want the garlic to burn. You've noticed now there's a nice smell in the air. I definitely love the smell of garlic when I'm cooking. At this point, we're going to go ahead and bring up our seasoning. We've already got this together in a previous step. We're just going to pour that in. Immediately go ahead and start stirring that around. You don't want the seasoning to clump up on you because then that will be really bad. We'll take a bit and then the next thing you know it'll have a big powder pocket of cumin in their mouth. I like cumin as much as the next person. Definitely love it in my Mexican foods like tacos or burritos, but it's just not good to get a big pocket of anything in your mouth. You just want to stir this around and mix it up roughly for about a minute to minute and a half. We don't want anything to burn. Just like ravioli. You never really think you can burn ravioli until you do it. Basically, it's because you just don't think about it. That's why it's best to bake ravioli instead of cooking it on the stove top. Not we're done with this. We're going to turn this off. We're going to put this to the side and we're going to brush it on our bread."
