"Hi! This Josiah Owen with Expert Village. Now we're going to talk about mincing our garlic for our herb and cheese bread. You're going to take off 2 cloves. If you have a smaller clove, you can grab 2 smaller cloves. It's up to you, but about 2 medium size cloves, which we have right here. I'm going to put the rest of our garlic to the side. At this point, you want to take the knife and cut off the bottom part of the garlic. That'll save you from having to do that later. Do that for both of them because you really don't want that in your food. You can put this and either use your hand, or I'll show you both methods. Take your knife and just press down. That way the skin just pops right off. This method, just put your hand down and press. It's the exact same thing. It's force going down to the garlic. It's up to you. Get the skin to the side. What you want to do is you want to curl your fingers and try to slice the garlic as small as you can get. Take that and turn it a 1/4 of a turn and do the exact same thing all the way across. You want to bunch it up, anchor the end of your knife, and fan out going back and forth. You're going to want the pieces of garlic pretty small, so about that big. "
