"Hi! This is Josiah Owen with Expert Village. Now we're going to talk about chopping our garlic for our bruschetta. We're going to need 4 cloves of garlic. Start off by chopping the bottom piece off. We're not going to use that anyway, so go ahead and get that out of there. Move that to the side. Next thing we're going to do is we're going to go ahead and get the shell off the garlic. Sometimes they just pop off. Sometimes it's a little more difficult. If that's the case, you're going to want to give it a quick hit. Put the knife flat blade down. Just press down, that way it'll just pop right out. Move that away. Just start cutting into small little pieces. Mince this really small. Do that for the next piece too. Cut it going down and then cut it going the complete opposite way. Sometimes it works if you start off and use your one hand as a pivot and just fan out. We want pieces roughly about that size."
