"Hi I'm Melody on behalf of Expert Village I'm going to show you how to make coconut shrimp. Using shrimp, coconuts, egg whites, and a little bit of breading. Alright there is several ways to do this we have pulled the skin off and the legs and multiple parts of this shrimp and we are going to dip into this egg that has already been stirred up to blend. Then I put coconut and just a regular type of breading that would be normally stuck on the outside to make bread fish and shrimps and things put coconut in there. We are going to mix it with lots of eggs so it really sticky and lots of coconut we are just going to stick it on there. We are just going to try and get it right in there with the breading and in a minute we are going to fry this in the deep fryer with the temperature up to 375. So here we go you can cut them open like this butterfly style of just like this it is your chose. You just get them gooey enough so that the batter would stick with the coconut. Alright we just get one more going here and then will put these in the deep fryer. Alright lets me just rinse my hands off here and we will go ahead and put these in. I like to set them in instead of doing and lowering it at that point they are already touching the basket and I prefer that they don't start off touching the basket. Okay you can stir them around a little bit, keep them floating, don't let them get stuck anywhere. Okay it shouldn't be more then 1 minute 1 1/2 minute. I'm going to leave them in there and keep looking at them and in a second see what came out. Alright I think these are just about done we have coconut shrimp and they have been in here for I will say about 4 minutes and jsut shake them to get some of this grease off. Alright look at this finish product beautiful shrimp. Check out our next segment we are going to be doing calamari. "
