"Hi I'm Melody and on behalf of Expert Village I'm going to show you how to make some deep fry onion rings today and we are using a temper batter and I will show you how to dip it. We used just a box temper mix that is premade, you just put a little bit of water in it, stir it and this is what you end up with. It is pretty tasty. Cut your onions it could be any kind of onions white onion, red onion, vandal, it doesn't matter. Cut them to the size that you would be happy with. What you are going to do now is I think I will not use these and I will just use my fingers. Fingers wash so easily. We are going to cover these in the batter and then I think I will just set them on a side plate while I'm preparing the rest. Alright we have this deep fryer set at about 360 degrees. Always be careful when using a deep fryer. Just for convenience and showing you I think I will put these in and show you how this works. Try keeping from touching each other if possible. When you first put them in try to give them a kick so they won't stick to the bottom. If it is floating it is frying. If it is sticking it is usually burning so there we go we would let those sit in there for a few minutes and we will keep a eye on them. Alright I think they are finished I'm going to go ahead and take them out now, they have been in there for about 4 1/2 minutes. I will take this out and put them on something to soak up the oils and there you go onion rings. Check out next segment we will be doing sweet and sour pork. "
