"Hi this is Melody on behalf of Expert Village I'm going to continue with our last segment and show you what to do with the batter that you made a few minutes ago hopefully. This very simple batter had a 1/4 of a cup of all purpose flour, a 1/4 of a cup of water, 2 tablespoon of cornstarch, 2 tablespoon of vegetable oil, a 1/4 of a spoon of baking soda and a 1/4 of a tablespoon of salt that is in here. We blend it up, we mixed it and now we have what looks like batter. We are going to make a cornflake batter. Take what you have made, smash up as much cornflakes as you think you might need to cover the food that you are making. You can roller pin this, you could beat it, you can have your children step on it, whatever sounds like fun and the coarse and texture really depends on you. It could be any kind of cornflakes it doesn't really matter just don't put sugar flakes in there if you are cooking chicken. What I normally do is just take the batter and I take the cornflakes and I combine the mixture in a big bowl. Depending again on what you are making. Some of the ice cream pie desserts are actually coated with cornflakes in a batter mix. Some batter in that particular dessert could be done with a little bit of egg, a little bit of milk, a little bit of flour but since we have already made this basic batter we are just going to go ahead and use this to make this particular batter and what you would be doing is stirring this until it is all wet. Take your food and dip it in just water so it would stick to it or you could use a egg yoke and white blended and I will show you that in the next segment coming up. So keep watching and you see the next step in the next segment. "
