"We are talking about healthy snacks. Another choice for kids that is healthy and quick and if your kids like it that's going to go over well and that's carrots. We happen to have some bagged organic carrots. What's nice about these is number one there that they come individually wrapped bags so that you can just go ahead grab it right out of the fridge, open it up and pour them out for your kids. What's also nice about this especially with the these is because they are organic and in their individual bags and they are prewashed. And they don't contain chemicals. That's the nice thing about going the organic route with those so you have these little neat organic carrots delicious and tasty. I will show you what you can do as far a dipping sauce with those a little bit later. Then you got just regular stick carrots of course these are going to a little more effort on your part to cut up. You know you are going to want to cut off the ends so that you get rid of the bad part obviously and having already washed these and again we want to wash them before we give them to the kids especially if they are non-organic you have to remove any pesticides that might be on the food. One of the recommendations for washing carrots would be they have done studies you can either hand wash them with water. You can hand wash them with water, soap and a scrubber . But one of the most effective ways that they have found even beating out the sprays that take a veggie wash sprays that take off the residual pesticides is just straight a mixture of water and vinegar. That's been proven to be just as effective and it's also inexpensive for you. You might want to consider that. So we've already cleaned these and what you want to do is just cut these. Maybe your kids like a longer one or maybe they will want to take the whole carrot. What ever suites them that's the thing about kids. Some might like the whole long carrot they might think it is cool running around like it's a little toy like their the rabbit or something. Some of them might want them shorter. So you've got choices on cutting the size when you get the whole raw carrot or you can go with the prepackaged carrots that are smaller. Again I recommend the smaller packaged organic carrots. Easier for you to reach and grab and give it to them on the go."
