Series Summary

Fried Rice is a Chinese dish that came about when left over rice was cooked in combination with other available vegetables and or meat to create a single dish. It's very popular in the American Chinese cuisine since it combine many of the same foods Americans are accustomed to. The Chinese use rice in almost every dish. Kind of like French fries here in the States, rice comes with most ordered meals in China. It can a bit lengthy to prepare but anything worth the time to cook certainly is.

This is a great dish since it can contain meat or be vegetarian or even vegan depending on the person or people you might be preparing it for. "Hi my name is Paris Sourivang and I'm here on behalf of Expert Village. Today I'm going to be showing you how to make fried rice. There is many variety of fried rice there is Chinese fried rice, Thai fried rice and Japanese fried rice. Today I'm going to be showing you how to make Thai chicken fried rice. When I was younger my mom thought me how to make fried rice because her and my dad where always on business trips so I was home to fend for myself. My mom always said in every Asian persons house there is always going to be soy sauce, eggs and rice you can't go wrong with those three things those are there basic ingredients for a typical fried rice. In college my friends would always come over and ask me to cook them my fried rice so I would tell them go get the ingredients and come back and I will cook it for you. Now there is always big gathering at my place every time I cook fried rice, I don't know why but there is so usually I would make large portions of it because there is a lot of people there and they always say they love eating my fried rice and today I'm going to teach you how to make my Thai chicken fried rice.
