"Hi, I'm Leah Schaefer on behalf of Expert Village. Today we're going to learn how to make Chinese steamed dumplings. So we're going to go ahead and wash up this cabbage now. We're going to need about a cup of cabbage. Basically what we want to do is wash it. We're going to chop it up pretty finely, then we're going to blanch it and I'll talk later about how we go about blanching it. So we probably want to take a knife through it maybe a couple of times so when we wash it, you can kind of peel it apart. Go ahead and remove the core while we're in here and this will be a lot easier to wash so we can get all the leaves. Take that over to the sink and as we're washing them we'll put them into a bowl (washing) we're going to cook this so it's okay if you leave quite a bit of water on it. "
