"RICHARD BUCCOLA: Hi, this is Rich Buccola of New York City. And today, on behalf of Expert of Village, I'm going to show you how to make beef stroganoff. All right, we put our meat to the side. We're just not going to start to brown it yet because we're going to chop our onion and our mushroom because they follow pretty quickly after we brown our meat. All right, I just have one small onion. I'm going to slice the sides off, and we're going to just remove that outer layer of skin. All right, we're just going to slice some nice rings with our onion thinly sliced, like so. Take your time. You don't have to be perfect. Now, we're going to use about three quarters of the onion. We don't even need the whole onion. All right, we sliced our onions. I'm going to put them to the side. Then we're going to wash them. I'll show you how to wash and slice our mushroom."
