"RICHARD BUCCOLA: Hi, this is Rich Buccola of New York City. And today, on behalf of Expert Village, I'm going to show you how to make beef stroganoff. We're making beef stroganoff today here on Expert Village, and the ingredients are as follows. All right, we're going to need some olive oil. Sometimes I throw a little scallion in there. I also use the scallion for garnish sometimes. We're going to put our beef stroganoff on noodles which is just great. I got whole wheat noodles that I'm going to try for the first time today. I heard they're really good. We're going to need some beef broth but we're also going to need some beef stock. I use both. That's how my grandma did it. We'll going to need some top sirloin beef. Go out and get your best stuff, usually for stew, say, top sirloin. We're going to cut those into nice strips. I'm using four different kinds of mushrooms, and if you're like me, most recipes call for a half cup of mushrooms of each one that you're using. I tend to go overboard 'cause mushrooms cook out and they're great. So today, I'm just using your regular stuffing mushroom. I have some shiitakes; I have portobello, and I also have crimini which give it a lot of flavor. These are criminis and they're great. Also you're going to need some flour. We're going to chop a slice, a half an onion very thinly. We're going to use some butter. Again like I said, the sour cream and the heavy cream for our cream sauce along with some geisha mustard to give it kick, and of course, some red wine to finish it all up. So come back, get all these ingredients together. We're going to put this beautiful beef stroganoff together. It's real easy and fast. And you know what's great about it? People are going to think you spent hours in the kitchen, but you really didn't. And when they taste it, they'll going to love you."
