"Alright, now that we have our eight spices mixed together I'm going to take some butter and grease our baking dish, then we are going to cut our vegetables. Very simple, we're just going to slice mushrooms, grab them up and put them on our baking sheet. Then we're going to take the bottom half of our red pepper to try to avoid the seeds up at the top, we'll cut that in half, cut off the white ribs, and we'll cut these in strips. Alright, now we'll mix these with our mushrooms, making sure that the strips are all separated from one another. I'm going to add about 1/2 a tablespoon of oil, give these another good stir, and then we'll make sure that they're nice and flat, and we're just going to shake our eight spices right over the top, then we're going to put this in the oven, and it's only going to have to bake for about 10 minutes."
