"Hi, this is Richard Buccola of New York City and on behalf of Expert Village, today I am going show you how to make some mashed potatoes. So we are back. The first thing that you are going to put, what is great about my mixing board, just going to come over now and put our scallions in. They are in. So the next thing you want to do is just eyeball this. You are going to take some milk and just pretty much a splash of milk and that's it. And later on if you see you need more, you just add it. You are going to add one stick of butter. I know that sounds like a lot of butter but man these are the creamiest mashed potatoes you are ever going to see. But last not least, you are going to put in some salt. Again, giving it a good amount of salt around eyeballing it. Once, two, three times around. My aunt used to say use white pepper but I don't have any white pepper today so I am just going to use black. You can use black. Fresh pepper is fine; a couple of turns of that. Why she would say use the white pepper is because she is making something white and you don't want to see those black flakes in it and it was just a nicer way of doing it.
