"PAMELA BOWMAN: Okay, there goes my timer. It's time to test the pasta. I'm just going to grab one of these little guys out. Be careful, now, because this water is really hot. And this pasta traps a lot of the water, so I want to be really careful when I'm tasting this. You know, I say it might need one more minute. I'm going to give it another 60 seconds. We're almost there. In the meantime, we need to get our colander out, so we can strain our pasta. These things work great. And one of the things I want to do also is grab a little cup, because I want to save - that should be ready - about a cup or a half a cup of pasta water, because I might need it to loosen up my pasta a little bit. And it's got all the great starch from the pasta itself. And this is perfect, so now we're going to drain it."
