"Hi, my name is Brandon Sarkis, on behalf of Expert Village. Today, I'll be making Bouef a la Ficelle, which is French for beef on a string. For our presentation, we're just going to line up our beef along one side of the plate. We're going to come over here with our little cornishons, and our baby corn. We're just going to lay them out like this, and I'm going to put our dipping sauces in the center of the plate. The way you would normally serve this is on two plates. You'd serve a plate like this; which is enough for two people, and you would serve a second plate like this, which would have a roll on it, or the bread you're using. We're going to take our roll and cut it. We're going to cut it with a hinge cut on it, so that the back stays together. So you would serve this here, and you would serve your soup bowl on the same plate. You would come over here, get your ladle, and go to your soup. Then you would ladle yourself up a bowl of the soup. So your entire presentation consists of this. You have one tray over here; one plate with all your beef, and your garnishes , and your sauces. The other plate over here is going to have your soup and your roll, and you kind of mix it all together. It's a really fun way to enjoy a dinner with somebody. You can make it for three or four people, and serve each person their own individual plate, and just do a center platter in the middle that has all the beef on it. You can do individual servings, like this. If you had really, really big plates, you could put a cup of soup on the plate, the roll; and each individual plate could have it's own little setup like this. They could build their own sandwich. It's really neat; it's really fun, and it's a really great dish. So with that, I hope you enjoyed watching my video. Check out more videos in Expert Village. I'm going to go eat this wonderful, wonderful dinner, so have a good one."
