"Alright, today we’re going to show you how to get your gas grill started up safely. We’ve got a propane tank here, and what I’ve done is pushed this bracket across the top of it and used a zip tie to hold this in place so it’s not going to wobble. We want to pay close attention to this valve here. Clockwise this direction is closed. So I’ve got this guy fully closed before I actually want to attach my hose which will in turn heat my elements inside my pit. Most manufacturers have already provided a collar for you so there’s not any tools needed, and this can be easily turned by hand. So we’ll just insert this in here and screw it in. We don’t want to over tighten, but we want a nice snug fit. We don’t want to use pliers or anything like that. At that point I’m going to go ahead and open this up. It’s really not necessary to open the butane or propane tank all the way. I just crank it about one turn plus another quarter, and that’s usually all that’s needed. And we’ll come back and show you how to get this thing lit up and start cooking. "
