"I'm Mark Alyn for Expert Village. All right we are going to take these disgusting little things, these little baby cabbages, to wash. I put the in a colander just like that and just run cold water over them. Pretty simple. Rub through them a little bit. It is important to wash them and get off all the dirt; there may be pesticides. They are not organic. The ones that I bought are not organic. Come to think of it the pesticides might make them actually taste better. Uhm. Anyway they have a lot of nutrients. They are high in fiber, vitamin C, lots of other good things for you which is why your mom always told you to eat your Brussels Sprouts. Wash them off and transfer them back into your bowl. "
