"On behalf of Expert Village, I'm Lizbeth Muller and today I'm going to teach you how to make some Cuban style picadillo. I'm going to take the meat and wash it and place it in the refrigerator before I start my picadillo. I'm going to use a container and just wash up the meat. Just rinse it out a little bit just like that. I'm washing it just a little bit. Place it on the side. Take my ground beef and do the same thing. Just kind of hang it up with some warm water I use. I like to keep my meat in the refrigerator before I start cooking all this stuff. I don't like to keep it outside. It's not good. It's not healthy. I cover it up and I'm going to put it on the bottom part of the refrigerator. I don't want it to be frozen and put it away in the freezer. I'm going to put it in here until I start to make my sofrito for the picadillo."
