"On behalf of Expert Village I'm Laura Bandford and I'm going to teach you how to make a delicious chicken pot pie. Now I'm going to show you the simple pieces of equipment that you are going to need to make a chicken pot pie. Here they are, one measuring cup, a trustee chefs knife (nice and sharp) wooden spoon for stirring the stew, a pair of tongs, a butter knife, a pairing knife for our vegetables, a nice handy peeler, a big skillet this is where all the action takes place as far as making our stew. We are going to cook our vegetables make our roux which I will talk about in a little bit and bring that to a simmer with our chicken and reduce that so it is going to be a nice savory stew. This is a non stick skillet which I'm going to use to poach the chicken breast and finally a baking dish it can be a Pirax dish, I have a metal baking dish with an air pocket underneath for even cooking. We are going to unfold our puff pastry on top of that and it is going to make a nice flaky crust and that is the equipment that we are going to need to make our chicken pot pie. See you in the next clip."
