"On behalf of Expert Village I'm Laura Banford. I'm going to show you how to make super lasagna and Caesar salad. Now that we sauted our aromatic vegetables our onions, garlic and celery we're going to actually make our sauce. We have the pot going and a pretty good heat and we're going to add some wine and a red wine is what is called for here. Let that simmer for a second. Obviously the alcohol cooks right out of it. What is left is that great flavor agent and this is our marina sauce, very plain marina, no preservatives, no stabilizers just tomatoes, olive oil, garlic, salt and pepper. I'm going to stir that up and bring this up to a to a simmer I can smell the tomatoes and the wine, it smells delicious and boy that is a great short cut to a really delicious sauce. I'll simmer that for a minute and add our sausage back in and in the meantime we're going to move onto our ricotta mixture and when I come back I'll show you the ingredients you'll need to make your ricotta mixture."
