"On behalf of Expert Village I'm Laura Banford. I'm going to show you how to make some country chicken stew. Well the chicken is in the pot along with our chopped vegetables carrots, onions, celery and garlic. Here it is and what we're going to do now is add some seasonings to that salt and pepper and a couple of bay leafs. I mentioned that these bay leafs before they add a lot of nice flavor. It really makes the soup a stand out soup. I have 2 1/2 that's about good, this is going to be a much better stew because of the bay leafs. We're going to cover our pot and bring that to a boil and then down to a simmer for about 40 minutes. When we come back, we're going to talk about our dumplings."
