"I have my defrosted chicken breast here. I already gotten my pan heated; we want about a medium high heat (roughly medium) What I want to do is I want to brown the chicken on the stove first so I'm just going to put a little bit of oil in my skillet or my pan. You can use whatever oil you want to. This is coconut oil, that's just something I like to cook with it's really really healthy. Olive oil works, you can use vegetable oil if that's what you have on hand. Again this meal is about using what you have. So I'm not picky with which oil you cook with into your pan so just get that melted, coat the bottom of the pan. When you lay your chicken breast in you do need to be careful. This is raw chicken so I like to use a pair of tongs to get these in. Once they are in you want to start seasoning them (sounds good) we'll stick that in the sink in just a minute. We are just going to season them up with just some salt and pepper. Chicken is kind of bland so you really need to season it well. Again, if this is going in with some rice and also all the seasons from the can soup so keep in mind there is a lot of season going into this entire dish. So you don't have to go crazy on fifteen different kinds of herbs and spices on your chicken. I think salt and pepper is a great base, let this start browning."
