We browned our steak we got a little oil in now we are going to add a little flour. We are basically going to start building that little roux here and that is going to make the base of our gravy. That is the base of every gravy. Let me step back and get some oil and this is going to help thicken, we are going to use a little beef broth and those little goodies that are left in the pot from us browning our meat. This is going to make up our gravy. So we got this going and you just want to cook your roux until it's the color that you are looking for, for your gravy.
